KODAWARI こだわり- “The uncompromising and relentless pursuit of perfection."

As a professional photographer, I always seek new opportunities to challenge myself and improve my skills. Whether shooting an engagement or a wedding, I see every photo session as a chance to showcase my expertise and take my craft to the next level. My passion for perfection in photography is deeply inspired by my experiences living and travelling in Japan.

During my visits, I was amazed by the dedication of the Japanese people to their work. Whether it's a janitor who cleans the floor or a sushi chef who prepares your meal, everything is done with great care and attention to detail. This level of discipline is called "Kodawari" in Japanese, and it represents the pursuit of perfection by utilizing qualities such as passion, persistence, commitment, and attention to detail.

Whether or not you've had the chance to visit Japan, you've undoubtedly encountered the impact of Kodawari through products imported from the country - such as cars and cameras - which are renowned worldwide for their exceptional quality and reliability because many Japanese companies do not cut corners to save costs and increase profitability when crafting their products. Similarly, in my work as a photographer, I take great pride in investing the time and effort to ensure that every photo I take or edit is perfect - no matter the cost.

I draw tremendous inspiration from Japan's work ethic and culture, which is why I purposely named my company "Bokeh." This name is derived from the Japanese word that embodies the art of capturing beautiful yet out-of-focus areas in a photograph. When you browse through my web portfolio's photo galleries, you'll notice stunning images where the subject is expertly separated from the background. This technique allows the viewers to focus on the composition, lighting, and, most importantly, the wedding couple's candid and yet photogenic expressions, which I have consistently and successfully captured for many years.
