An opportunity to learn more about the couple


As a photographer, an engagement photo session offers a wonderful opportunity for me to connect deeply with the couple before their wedding day. This intimate experience allows me to explore the subtleties of their personalities and observe how they naturally interact with each other in front of the camera. For example, do they share playful moments, exchanging lighthearted jokes and laughter, or do they seem more reserved, perhaps struggling to feel comfortable in front of the lens?


I focus on understanding which angles and poses enhance their unique features and genuinely capture the essence of their bond. Do they lean into each other, showcasing a strong emotional connection? Or do they have contrasting dynamics, with one partner being more outgoing while the other is more introspective? By exploring these nuances, I can tailor my photographic approach to ensure their wedding images authentically reflect who they are as a couple.
